Comments: Classic Aston Villa bomber jacket made by Wall St. Leisure, official activewear of the Football League, between 1989-92.
In 1991, Villa became the first top division side to appoint a foreign manager in Jozef Vengloš. However, a 17th place finish saw him replaced by Ron Atkinson after just one season. Atkinson led the side to a more respectable 7th place finish in 1992.
The Villa squad included Cyrille Regis, Tony Daley, Paul McGrath, Dwight Yorke, Tony Cascarino and David Platt.
Features official Football League sleeve patch on left arm. Measures 25" width (pit-to-pit). Light wear to 'The Villa' motif, odd feint blemish to right sleeve.
