Comments: Padded goalkeeper shorts worn by the Azzurri at their home World Cup in 1990. 

The goalkeepers included Walter Zenga, Gianluca Pagliuca and Stefano Tacconi.

The Italian squad also included Roberto Baggio, Roberto Mancini, Franco Baresi, Nicola Berti and Paolo Maldini.

However, Salvatore Schillaci was the highlight of the Azzurri's tournament as he scored six goals and won the Golden Boot.
