Comments: In '95/96 Bayern started the season under Otto Rehhagel's watch but he was replaced by the legendary Franz Beckenbauer towards the end of the season.

The Bayern captain and all-time great, Lothar Matthäus, is featured on the reverse. He is the most capped German player in history and holds the record for appearing in five different World Cups. The box-to-box midfielder is regarded as one of the best of all time, playing over 350 games for Munich in two spells with the club.

Bayern went on to win the UEFA Cup in 1996 as Jürgen Klinsmann scored 31 goals in the season.
