Comments: Classic home shirt worn by the Atlanta Chiefs of the NASL (North American Soccer League) during the 1979 season. The original Atlanta Chiefs had folded in 1974, and the failing Colorado Caribous franchise was purchased and brought to Atlanta to bring back football in 1979. English striker Jeff Bourne scored 18 goals and registered 15 assists during the season.

The squad also included Louie and George Nanchoff, Branko Radovic, Mike Balsom, Webster Lichaba, Carl Strong and Jomo Sono.

Features imprinted number on front which was worn by Nino Zec. The Yugoslav striker scored 5 goals in 14 games for the Chiefs in his single season before moving to Houston Hurricane.
