Gamba Osaka home football shirt 1993/94

Condition: 9/10

Player: #9 Akihiro Nagashima

Comments: Everybody meet Gamba Boy. When the J-League was founded in 1993 it is rumoured that Sony Entertainment were granted the contract to provide all graphics for the teams.  They appeared to focus on the idea of Olympian Gods...

Kashiwa Reysol's character would be a cartoon Apollo (Sun God), Bellmare were given a cartoon Poseidon (Sea God) and as you can see, Gamba would get an electricity-wielding Zeus (God of Thunder).

This is an extremely rare version featuring the #9 on the front and the reverse, worn by their leading striker who scored 17 goals this season  But the best part about this shirt has to be the team's emblem... Gamba Boy.

Official size is JASPO-L, fits M/L. Minor bobbling on reverse.

As with the majority of J-League shirts of the 90s, the details and prints are delicate.
