Gamba Osaka signed cup home football shirt 2009/10
Condition: 9/10
Signed by: #23 Takuya Takei
Comments: Matchworn home shirt worn by Gamba Osaka during their Asian Champions League campaign in 2009. Unlike their league shirt, the continental shirt featured a sash design rather than their traditional vertical stripes.
Gamba progressed through the group stage but were beaten by South fellow Japanese side Kawasaki Frontale in the first knockout round.
Shirt features official heat-transferred AFC sleeve patches and nameset for Japanese midfielder Takuya Takei who made three appearances in the AFC Champions League campaign and was an unused substitute on the other four occasions. They were defeated in the Round of 16 by Seongnam Ilhwa.
The midfielder played 145 games in total for Gamba Osaka between 2008-13.
Shirt is signed by Takei across the lower torso in gold pen. Club emblem displays a star which shows '08', celebrating their Emperor's Cup triumph in 2008.
Official size is JASPO O-XO, fits L/XL. Small crack in midriff sponsor.
