Olympiacos home football shirt 1998/99

Condition: 10/10

Player: #7 Stylianos Giannakopoulos

Comments: The team from Piraeus wore this shirt as they were crowned champions of the Alpha Ethniki in the '98/99 season. Olympiakos also won the Greek Cup, beating Panathinaikos 2-0 in the final.

The Greek giants also, maybe somewhat more impressively, made it to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, where they unfortunately lost 3-2 on aggregate to Juventus.

The reverse has the official Puma nameset for the former Greek international midfielder (and EURO 2004 winner) Stelios.

The little winger played for Olympiakos for over seven years before moving to Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League. He is one of the most memorable Greek footballers of all time.
