Scotland home football shirt 1996/98

Condition: 8/10

Comments: Craig Brown's tartan army marched into the World Cup in 1998 and wore this shirt during the qualifying campaign to get them there. They were captained by the long blonde locks of Colin Hendry, they were one of the lowest ranked teams to qualify.

In their opening game they were drawing with Brazil until a heartbreaking own goal condemned them to a 2-1 defeat. The Scots ultimately finished bottom of the group and still remain the only team to ever qualify for five World Cups without progressing further than the first round.

General fade to white segments.
