Comments: Matchworn away shirt worn by midfielfer Geoff Thomas for The Alex between 1986-88 as they finished 14th in the Fourth Division in back-to-back seasons. Thomas made 125 league appearances for Crewe between 1984-87 and went on to be capped by England on nine occasions.

Dario Gradi's squad also included David Platt, John Pemberton, Gary Blissett and Peter Billing.
