Inter were crowned Scudetto champions by finishing just two points ahead of Roma. It was also Roma who they defeated in the final of the Coppa Italia, with a single goal from Diego Milito.
Mourinho's men then defeated Bayern Munich 2-0 to win the Champions League, with Milito grabbing both the goals.
