The squad included English-based players such as Marcus Gayle, Fitzroy Simpson, Robbie Earle, Deon Burton and Frank Sinclair.
They lost their first two games against Croatia and Argentina and ultimately didn't progress to the knockout stages, but they did manage a 2-1 victory over Japan in the final group game. Both goals were scored by Theodore Whitmore, making him the country's record goalscorer at the World Cup.
