Comments: Classic home shirt worn by Newry City during the 1999/00 season in which they finished 6th in the Irish League Premier Division and competed in the Intertoto Cup, their first ever appearance in a European competition. They famously beat Croatian side Hrvatski Dragovoljac in the first round, turning around a 1-0 deficit from the first leg with a 2-0 home win in the reverse fixture.

They were eventually beaten 2-1 on aggregate by MSV Duisburg in the second round.

They did win the Mid-Ulster Cup.

The squad included Adrian Larkin, Alan Byrne, John Drake, Robbie Casey, Mark Rutherford, Tony Scappaticci and John Kenny.
