Comments: Iconic player-spec home shirt worn by Penarol between during 1994/95.

Penarol defeated National 2-1 to claim the Apertura title. Sadly, there was crowd trouble amongst fans outside the ground and a Nacional fan was killed. As a result, Penarol were sanctioned with a loss of points and ultimately lost the title they had won on the pitch.

In 1995, they would again defeat National 1-0 to claim the Clausura title.

Features painted number on the reverse which was worn by Uruguayan great and club captain Pablo Bengoechea who spent 10 years with Penarol between 1993-2003.

Bengoechea's career at Peñarol was very successful in terms of titles won. He helped the team conquer the second “Quinquenio de Oro” (five consecutive league titles), winning the league title in the seasons of 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997. He also helped the side to the title in 1999.

He is considered one of the greatest players in the history of Peñarol.
