Comments: Iconic matchworn/issued home shirt worn by Sampdoria during the 1991/92 season as defending Scudetto champions. They finished 7th in Serie A and were sadly beaten finalists in the European Cup, losing 1-0 to Barcelona.
Number most commonly worn by midfielder Giovanni Invernizzi who went onto 236 appearances for Samp in nine seasons.
The squad also included Gianluca Vialli, Roberto Mancini, Toninho Cerezo, Attilio Lombardo, Pietro Vierchowod and Gianluca Pagliuca.
