Sale price£450

Condition: 8/10

Player: #3 Philippe Leonard

Comments: Matchworn away shirt used in just one game by Standard Liege on 12/09/1995 away at Vitoria de Guimaraes in the UEFA Cup first round first leg. Liege lost 3-1 and were knocked out of the competition after the second leg finished 0-0. You can view the highlights here.

The shirt features no OPEL logo across the midriff as per UEFA regulations. It was worn by defender Philippe Leonard (who received a yellow card in the 21st minute). The left-back made 215 appearances for the club in which he progressed through the youth ranks before ultimately moving to Monaco in 1996.

The squad also included Mircea Rednic, Michaël Goossens, Bernd Thijs, Marc Wilmots, Guy Hellers, Gunther Schepens, Dimitri De Condé and Alain Bettagno.

Small graze to lower torso (pictured), odd bobble, slight discolouration to felt details and number.
