Taranto initially finished 2nd in Serie C1 Group B and beat Lanciano in the playoff semi-final. Sadly they only managed a 0-0 draw in the second leg of the final against Catania and did not win promotion.
The squad included Christian Rigano, Pietro Parente, Francesco Galeoto, Domenico Giugliano, Rosario Bennardo and Vincenzo Di Liguori.
