Comments: Matchworn home shirt worn by midfielder Joseph Zarb, given to Rangers kitman after the first leg of the European Cup first round match between Valletta and Rangers on 19/09/1990. Rangers won the match 4-0 (and the tie 10-0 on aggregate).

Domestically, Valletta finished as runners-up to Hamrun Spartans in 1991 but claimed the Maltese Premier League title for the fourteenth time in 1992.

The squad also included Nicky Saliba, Borislav Gyorev, Gilbert Agius, William MacKay and Joe Camilleri.
